Hunter loved video games, especially playing PlayStation online and competing against opponents of higher levels. He was very competitive and loved a challenge. He also loved music. His favorite band was Aerosmith, but he had many other bands that he listened to. A recent Rockfest concert was a particularly exciting first-time experience for Hunter. But Hunter’s passion was fishing and camping. His family had been camping since he was a small child, and he loved nothing better than sending a line into the water. Weekends with his cousins where he spent the entire time fishing were some of his most enjoyable. His new red fishing pole was a cherished possession.
Hunter loved very deeply. His family was so important to him. He had a special bond with his grandmother, whom he called “Gram.” Most of his time was spent with his gram, and they had a special way of saying “I love you” to each other. Gram would say, “Hunter, you’re my favorite grandson.” Hunter would smile and say, “Gram, I’m your only grandson.” They would always smile at each other and hug or kiss.
He is survived by his parents, Michelle and Jason Roberts; his sisters, Kendra, Jillian, Cali, and Emma, as well as a sister yet to be born, Olivia; his paternal grandparents, William and Sandra Beedle; his maternal grandparents, Linda and Marvin Smith; his paternal great grandmother, Rama Mercer; and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins too numerous to mention by name.
We love you, Hunt, and will miss you here, but we look forward to a joyful reunion someday when we join you in heaven..
